One of the benefits of CAL SMACNA membership is FREE registration and attendance at our annual in-person Safety Seminar series. These seminars are designed to help keep your company up to date on state and federal safety regulations that may impact your business and workers. Come learn the latest from Cal/OSHA, Federal OSHA, as well as, “Hot Topics for Safety Professionals,” and the importance of the annual updates to your company’s IIPP.

The seminars are presented by CAL SMACNA’s Safety Consultant Steve Bowers, CSP, CIT, President of Global Safety Management Consultants. Steve has over 30 years’ experience in the Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) field in the high-risk petrochemical, semiconductor and construction industries. In addition to numerous safety-related certifications and professional memberships, he is an instructor for OSHA Construction 30/10 Hour, NFPA 70E, EM385-1-1 and has certifications for Hazardous Materials/Waste Management, Emergency Response/Incident Commander and Industrial Fire Fighting.

CAL SMACNA’s model IIPP and Safety Manual is updated annually and is easily customizable and available to CAL SMACNA members at no charge.

Registration and Breakfast: 7:30 AM — Seminar: 8:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
