Proposition 13: Californians for Safe Schools and Healthy Learning!
We need your help by December 31, 2019 to pass Proposition 13 – the $15 billion Public Preschool, K-12 and College Health and Safety Bond Act of 2020! There are less than 100 Days to campaign before California voters receive their ballots. The campaign to educate California voters on the need for a 2020 State School Bond must hit the ground running for a sprint to February.
About Proposition 13
AB 48 (O’Donnell) Signed by Governor Newsom as Chapter 530/Statutes of 2019
Proposition 13- the $15 billion Public Preschool, K-12 and College Health and Safety Bond Act of 2020- is on the ballot for the March 3, 2020 Statewide Primary Election. In addition to K-12 ($9 billion) and Community Colleges ($2 billion), the bill includes California State Universities ($2 billion) and University of California ($2 billion). The $15 billion roughly doubles when the local districts match the amount, this creating an approximately $30 billion investment into new construction and modern retrofitting.
Why Your Firm Should Support the 2020 State School Bond?
- Every $1.0 billion in new state and local school infrastructure created 17,000 jobs.
- Your firm can help meet the demand for new and repaired classrooms.
- Students and teachers in your community need 21st Century spaces to teach and learn.
